Volunteer Opportunity NAMI  Wyoming has begun a  search for new members for its state board of directors.  We need members who have skills that would benefit and promote the mission of our organization which is to be a force for positive change in the lives of all those affected by mental illness We are looking for dedicated and caring residents of Wyoming who are willing to serve in order to promote the services and support that would benefit those with mental illness and their families and friends.  NAMI Wyoming is a grassroots organization composed of nine local affiliates and more than 250 members across Wyoming.  NAMI members are individuals living with mental illness, their family members, and other allies such as health care professionals.  The NAMI Wyoming state board of directors protects assets and provides proper financial oversight.  It ensures the legal and ethical integrity of the organization. The board ensures effective planning in order to monitor and strengthen NAMI’s programs and services.  The NAMI-WY state board meets at least 6 times a year with two of the meetings being face to face in Casper and the rest being by teleconference call.  If you are interested in becoming a NAMI Wyoming Board member please contact one of the individuals listed below.
